Hamer_SS_guy Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 I like the new album by GOV'T MULE. I also recently listened to early 70's Santana and (pre-Perry) Journey, some early 70's Johnny Winter, 70's Pat Martino, Traffic, Beck, Bogert & Appice, Zep. I might be on an early 70's trip right now. I was too young to enjoy them as much as I would now. Maybe the trip has his origin from a "vintage US car" fest I visited. I love those old muscle car designs (no, I am no real nerd). I recently re-read some old comic books and watched some movies from that time too. 1 Quote

Didn’t match record sales with Perry but I ll take early Journey any day. Lucky enough to see them too 1 Quote
veatch Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 It's, what, 50 years later? It's still a bloody masterpiece. Quote
RobB Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 The Troutman brothers tear it up with a little help from Bootsy. Quote
RobB Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Classic of classics. One of the few 70's fusion LPs that withstood the test of time without sounding dated. 1 Quote
RobB Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 (edited) I normally eschew compilations, but this one has SO many great tunes on it I couldn't resist. Edited September 5, 2023 by RobB Quote
