blackfbiv Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Digging 'em on YouTube today... real down to earth rock. "If it's so good, why am I still... broke?" They deserved more success, IMHO.
hamerjunkie Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 The "Nobody Said it was Easy" CD is still one of my favorites for the disc player in the truck. In the same vein is Nashville Pussy, Junkyard and Masters of Reality for me
singlehum Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 YES! I just blasted that disc this weekend. Love it. No reunion potential though unfortunately...I believe the singer is dead. And Junkyard rocks too. Good call.
Rockola Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Played loud this weekend. Here's a neat party trick (and a very slight beef) ~ start the CD and play 3-5 seconds of each opening riff as you forward thru the CD.
elduave Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I saw The Black Crowes open for Junkyard, then The Four Horsemen open for The Black Crowes later the same year...
HoboMan Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Love these guys.Saw them at the Trubadour back in the early 90s.There was about 20 people there and they ROCKED.Some of my favorite all time guitar tones. Here's the full album:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehki4m1lq9w
princeofdarkness56 Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 That one still get's heavy play with me.
tommy p Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Thanks for the reminder. I think I'll listen to that tomorrow.
Ranger Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Thought you were talking about the Aphrodite's Child song on the 666 albulm. How many folks recall that???
