kizanski Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Truly one of the saddest places to be: leaving NOLA for anywhere else, let me tell you...bravo and amenUnless, of course, there's a Cat5 hurricane barreling toward shore.Yes... I WAS happy to be leaving New Orleans on August 27th, 2005.But this is the exception that proves the rule - lol.
BKW Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 This might be a little late, but I am planning on being there.
kizanski Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 As Kiz mentioned, finer people you will never meet....and you won't be meeting him this year in Chicago, unfortunately. The Mighty Mighty REE-shard will have to skip Chicago because of a project at work.He dangles the carrot out in front of our collective faces and then pulls it away!

hectorp Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 " The Mighty Mighty REE-shard will have to skip Chicago because of a project at work." I just watched the Cajun episode of Bourdain's "No Reservations" and I kept looking for Jeff. Favorite quote of the episode (after he shoots a pig): "Double tap to the head....just like they taught us in Jersey."
Jeff R Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 That was a great Bourdain episode. I wasn't in it but I'm friends with several of the folks in it.
Jorge Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Sorry for the very late info, but I just sent you a message. I hope there is still space! Thanks.
