NEWMAN60 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Not sure, but if there's any likelihood of him wanting to pass on it, I'm calling dibs and you can make that satin, please. Really wishing the custom checked Cali had come with a satin neck. Id'n that what 0000 steel wool is for? You can always buff it back out to shiny if you go easy with the steel wool. Not the same. Steel wool has oils in it. Plus take a nine volt battery and stick the leads into it and see what happens. Bm Dear Jackass,Do not tell people to touch 9 volt batteries to steel wool,I just burned my house down!

Bm Dear Jackass,Do not tell people to touch 9 volt batteries to steel wool,I just burned my house down! That's ok. Did you get your 30 packs out first? Remember the priority list. Drugs first, then beer, guitars, amps, pedals, tapes of early jams, junk food, pets, hookers, then kids. Bm

RichRS6 Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 If I remember correctly it's called an exothermic reaction.
Jackass Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Also, don't put a 9-volt in a battery box in a guitar, then twist the red and black ends together to feed it down a narrow hole, then forget to untwist the ends. I almost melted a Vector custom order doing that.Bm

Northfield Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 I'm solo today. First level the Chap. Those guys are ready for color a little bit af a fretting adjustment and on to leveling . Thanks to Newman's perfect crafstmanship that he does, very little leveling is needed, and no crowning of the frets...
Northfield Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Now to just double check the the fit , and I think this is it for today.
RichRS6 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 WOW.Do you have to pay them extra to work on Saturdays ?
Steve Haynie Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Those inlays look like they fit perfectly without any glue to hold them in place.
