hamerhead Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 How'd it go?!? We need pictures and details and sh!t!! C'mon!!
carfish7 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I, for one, had a GREAT time! It was nice to see George and Carmie as always, Badger Dave was cool enough to lay a trem arm on me for the price of one Shiner Bock, and brought sparkly, pointy things to fondle, SirDan led us down some new and interesting paths, and we FINALLY got to meet Carl B and his cool bass player friend (wno's name I have sadly forgotten?!? I blame the fine tequila Badger brought). I got to watch my Newport get passed around like a fattie before the school bell too, and hear how it sounded through the Dr. Z's. Lots of regulars and semi-regulars there including Ted, Tombo, Ray, Shredmeister, the always cool and dazzling BillW, and of course our fantastic host, Bruce. We even had girls! Who sang! The Chili verde kicked ass. I won't soon forgive you bastards leaving me alone in "power trio" mode trying to honor a request for "Godzilla" and "Don't Fear The Reaper" though. Thanks for not pelting me with over-ripe fruit or percussion devices...... Oh, and when I got home, I got some of that old-fashioned "Rock-star" treatment from the Mrs. A perfect capper to a GREAT night of fun. Pics will likely follow at some point. I saw some posing going on for sure. I didn't get any of my nightcapper though, so don't ask.

sirDaniel Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 oh YEAH. The chili was magnifique. The pink sparkly explorer got my attention early. Then the bastardized newport pro. The music was zingy. Don't fear the reaper put Z into the stratosphere, phenominal fun. I never did do a boa fitting. Best rendition ever of Down by the river, clearly made possible by badgers zebra/giraffe/cheetah hybrid graphic Hamer that smashed the tone barrier. Having the lasses sing was also the key. Watch for the pix. loved seeing the old dawgs and running with some new arrivals. Thanks for a helluva retirement party!!! whoo hooooo! This was alot funner singing about Bambi then shooting one.
BruceM Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I've got a few photos: According to tradition, Ray started us of with a Chopin Martini Kit. Boas and Guitars. What more do you need? Let's get this party started. Bob, Tombo and Z. Finally, some boa action! Badger Dave, Bruce, George and Bruce. No party is complete without party girls! Carmie and Meg, with Dave in the background. And of course every party needs a poseur. Our latest retiree, Sir Dan. George rocks the 8-string. What's that thing that Dave's playing? Another great time at the 4-3-2-1 Club!!!
bubs_42 Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Wait the Z28 was up on high? Can anyone still here?
BadgerDave Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Amazing. I didn't realize that tequila makes you blurry on the exterior too!

Caddie Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Bruce, not too many men can rock the pink feathery boa like you do. SirDaniel, had i known you'd be there……. good to put a face on the voice and the keyboard. Scary! Looks like a good time and some good liquor was had by all. Cheers caddie
tombo Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Loved seeing George & Carmie, my brother Ray, Badger D, Shred, Bill, meeting Sir Dan in person for the first time, and a huge bear hug to Z (Carfish7) - you are the Adrian Smith to my Dave Murray. Ted...I see all the time, but it was great talking with you to and from the venue that is the 4321 Club. And of course...Bruce. You rule and your club is my favorite club to play at. Thank you for your hospitality and I'm sorry we didn't get to chat more. See you at Target???Can't wait 'til the next one!
