MCChris Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 That sounds like something you should do with that guitar. We can send it to someone in the Chicago area after that for McChris and The Rub on the 24th then.Yeah, if I could get it in time for that, awesome. Another guaranteed public appearance! 2 Quote
paults Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 The shows went great (we set another attendance record in Toledo/Maumee) This guitar is SO much fun to play! Anyone who still on the fence about spending some time with it should get in line for delivery! The neck reminds me of the earliest SG/Les Pauls - which is pretty typical for old Specials. I used a couple "off brand" guitars along with it that don't have shreddish necks, to make transitions painless. The pictures are starting to trickle in - I've been promised many more, and a video or two, as well (I'll post more as they appear). Gig One (Lazy Chameleon, Powell, Ohio): Gig Two (Indian Lake Festival) - friends of the band - stage pictures on the way... GIG THREE (Maumee Summer Festival) A stage eye's view from the Maumee gig: 10 Quote
django49 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Hoping to do it some sorta justice if/when it makes it to the west coast! This is a great idea. 1 Quote
paults Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I'm sure you will - it pretty much plays itself 1 Quote
Hamer Dave Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 (edited) Raised On Radio gig in Itasca, Illinois September 5th. I'd surely rock it, if it's in Chicago area. Dave www.RaisedOnRadioChicago.com Edited August 18, 2014 by Hamer Dave Quote

MCChris Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Not on me. But it was fuggin' hot, man. Dripped my DNA allover the WBS#5.I'm actually impressed that the guys in the core band are all on board with the NSOS rule. Can't control what the guests do. 4 Quote
L Nutter Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 It was fuggin' hot! I promise to follow the NSOS rule from now on - just having an Angus Young moment i guess ....Seriously - that was a lot of fun! Thanks MCChris! 2 Quote

phoenix Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 (edited) so awesome.idea. Wyldbil's skull and crossbones is unique. The smile and the bones crossing behind the skull is closest to the pirate Richard Worley. they were a straight X though, and looked different. (only looked at 15 though)Is there a tribute logo that can raise funds for his girl or his website? Wyldbil under unique pirate skull-and-crossbones is cool. Edited August 31, 2014 by phoenix Quote
