can I feel any more inferior at playing guitar?

Ha ha ha ha ha!

I was sent this earlier. Great technique and timing already. I bet she practices 2 hours a day unlike me...

That's it. I'm throwing in the towel. White flag of surrender.

Fuckin' A. :mellow::blink::(

I watched it without turning the sound on. Looks like she was knitting or something. Bet there was a lot of medely medely mees in there. As Coolfeel said, she looked boored.

Bored? The look she gives the camera at 2:17 is priceless - she's concentrating!

It's very encouraging to see someone younger than 35 playing a real guitar. Seems pretty rare these days.

I love seeing stuff like this. If everyone played as poorly as me the world would be a desperately uninteresting place. :)

I read somewhere:

"No matter how good you are at something, there's always an Asian kid who's better than you".

The ironic part is I've always blamed my limited lead playing ability on my small hands. After watching this video, that theory has officially been blown out of the water

What I find interesting is that the only thing she seems to have trouble with is those bends and vibrato. Obviously, as she gets older and her physiology develops, it won't be an issue for her. But it is an interesting lesson on how much hand and finger size ultimately matters and the relationship between dexterity and hand strength. Besides her obviously amazing talent, it's kind of neat what else you can learn from watching her.

Give her a big line of coke and half a bottle of vodka and then see how she copes - it is, after all, supposed to be rock 'n roll.

Not to belittle, I mean, I can hardly hold down a barre chord, but how many of these little buggers have we posted here since I joined in 2000 and how many have we ever heard of or seen again ?

Oh, and that's an honest question by the way, anyone ?

Jem...once they discover the coke and alcohol, it's all over. You never hear from them past age 10.

That's sort of what I felt Chris, it was for me that's for sure, I spent far too much time 'being' rock 'n roll than actually practicing to play it LoL

If you didn't think you could feel worse, they've all become fund managers, and now make 20+ million a year!

Problem is, we both know you're probably only five degrees away from the truth :(

Hey, that might be our very own gmaslin!

Nah....

:P

Nope, too pretty - and I mean that in an "I have a daughter about that age" sort of way.

And, anyone feeling like they are struggling with their guitar playing, pm me and I'll send you a comp'd demo of my very best work to cheer you up.

That's because the parents take the fun out of it before 10.
