Feynman Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Pretty amazing, huh? My guitar guy is a wizard. The Beck-Beach Boys setlist is his gift to me as a Beck Fanboi (he is Beck's tech).
velorush Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Remarkable! Uncanny! Like it never happened!Any change in the sound?
Feynman Posted June 20, 2014 Author Posted June 20, 2014 Remarkable! Uncanny! Like it never happened! Any change in the sound? You can't even tell anything happened even when sitting here in the room staring at it. No sonic change as far as I can tell - it still makes me sound like an uncoordinated bungler.
DaveL Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 it does look good, the city name on the setlist was a nice touch,
django49 Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Glad to see that damage was repaired excellently. Have fun with it.
murkat Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 well done Mitch.you can breath again I hope.well done.
HAMERMAN Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Nice work - always great to see a guitar fixed and put back in action.
Boomerang~Junkie Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Mitch,You were in a tough spot on that one for a bit. You guy is more like a "guitar trauma surgeon" - wow.I'm really glad that worked out so well for you.
JohnnyB Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Told'ja.This is exactly the caliber of classical guitar luthier I was thinking of--makes it look like it never happened and the guitar comes out sounding as good as--or better than--it was before. Enjoy!
specialk Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Congrats, Mitch. Your guitar guy does wonders!Great setlist, too.
hamerhead Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 That looks amazing. It's nice to know there are guys like him and Greg and Jay that can do magic like that.
