Feynman Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Where's my "U?" Did they forget to double bind some of the early ones? What a POS.
MCChris Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Dang. What kind of back room dealing went into this acquisition?
Michael_B Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Yep. Fake POS. I've heard about these. Made in Pakistan. But it's an interesting curio. I'll offer to take it off your hands for the HTC approved price of tree-fiddy,Pakastani dollars.I'm jealous as hell. Enjoy.
DBraz Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Perhaps Mike made this one when he was on holiday?
BadgerDave Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Black pearl UAdds a smokey note to the midsAnd a few hundy to the market value
Thundersteel Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 My first Newport had a "missing" letter as well. Coincidence?
G Man Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Show off, I'd claim dibs, but I know the line is already around the corner. Great score Mitch, apparently good things do come to those who wait.
BubbaVO Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Good. Now I don't want it any more. Kind of like if Pippa Middleton had a bulldog's tail tucked back between the cheeks of her bikini bottom.
veatch Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I think i'll need to inspect it personally to give an accurate assessment. PM me for my address...Have i mentioned that Jazzburst is the perfect color for Korina or spruce. Very nice, sir. Play it proud.
Cary Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 That's a rare version made in Mexico - The Hamer "Ese".
Sugartune Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Coool! I love that, lack of vowel and all. Enjoy playing it, because eet-SA Hamer!
Disturber Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 The seller knew guitars usually make U-turn with you and head out the door with in a few weeks. He just tried to correct that fact.
Andrew Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 You're wrong. South Africa is RSA.That finish is known as "Camel Dung Sunset" and it was made in Saudi Arabia.
velorush Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Beatifl! (I thoght) se of the letter now considered superflos wold be inappropriate). Started a timer, yet. Be a shame if it left before the timer even got cranked up! Edited as I found an additional disallowed "u" in the opening line, rendering the gag moot and also to add the tongue-out smiley that was lacking on my iPhone keyboard from this morning.
Bennyboy-UK Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Yeah yeah yeah... Where's the penguin? That's all we really care about...Chop chop..,
Steve Haynie Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Our country is becoming Balkanized, so there is no need for the U that stands for "United."
gorch Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Don't care if it plays and sounds well. It'd be a keeper then.
Steve Haynie Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Don't care if it plays and sounds well. It'd be a keeper then. Yeah. Who cares if it cannot play a U note?
burningyen Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Where's my "U?" Did they forget to double bind some of the early ones? What a POS.
