Putting this one back up on the block...

This Bich was restored by Neal Moser ~2010.

It has new pickups (DP122s I believe), new dual-preamp Bich harness, new knobs, new tuners, new frets, new finish (Glitter Rock White), new custom fit G&G HSC (*beautiful* case; new from Moser), new TRC, control cover, and jack plate, new Bich "feet"... and best of all - the original four saddle bridge was ditched and a Hamer 8-saddle setup (also obtained new) was used in its place. Sets up and intonates perfectly, and this thing plays like a dream.  Serial number didn't fully survive the refin, but it is in the 895XX range (not sure what year that is exactly).

Looking for 2400 shipped in CONUS.  Bank transfer would be best, or I'm sure we can work something out if you need to do Paypal.  Has cream pickup covers at the moment, but comes with set of black pickup covers as shown in photos. Reasonable offers entertained, but not interested in trades at this time.

That Bich is actually pretty exciting, a few years ago I would have driven down to pick it up personally.

The electronics in these are really cool with the dual (cascaded) preamps. Massive onboard overdrive capability (it actually sounds really nice), and combined with the varitone, series/parallel, and phase switching it offers up quite a variety of tones.

I learned with my Ric 8-string that 4-saddle bridges just don't cut it. I had plans to modify that with custom saddles (ala this), but ended up moving it instead. That's why I thought this Bich was so cool - intonation is perfect up and down the neck on both the roots and octaves.

Cool too that the fellow who designed it gave it a full restoration! I had corresponded a bit with him about it when I bought it - really nice guy.
