Toadroller Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 OK, for you "Columbo" types, focusing your attention on the neck reveals a big clue one of the minor options Mike graciously agreed to do for me. All I can see is that he left out the first fret inlay - Austin I was going to guess fretless.

Bobby Marshall Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Here is some inspiration from a Martin made in 1905.
Boomerang~Junkie Posted January 10, 2016 Author Posted January 10, 2016 Uh no. Not ^ ^ THAT ^ ^ . . . . . How about something a little more like THIS?
a.bandini Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 When I picked up 0029 and commented to Mike how pretty the inlays were, he said "That's nature." I love the inlays in my Ultimate. And Mr. Boomerang Junkie, the inlays on yours look especially nice, but I think Mike kind of showed his outlook with that comment. Yeah, I get it, he's only showing off what nature has already done, but he does it in such a fantastic way. 0044 looks great!
anotherfreak Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 what's the upcharge for the pencil'ed logo?? seriously beautiful work Mike
Jakeboy Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 7es, the figured inlays on 0006 are just stunning. Like the rest of the guitar.....

DaveL Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 cool... I actually like frets over binding. Have a custom shop dean with nicely rolled dges over the binding. love it. Could not understand the national freakout over the lack of nibs on 2014 Gibson's.
