Oh yeahhh. Lots going on in the land of perpetual GAS and modding.

First up is the So Cal project I initiated back in the early summer(?). This one is getting the full treatement- new custom pickguard, new paint, new pickups. Some may recall voting on the pickguard I am to put on. I think everyone's instincts mirrored my own and now, after seeing the new finish, I know it's the right call.

Next up is the custom Iceman I'm having a builder in Ohio- Attila Csapo- make. The plans were finalized and he's got the body cut from a solid hunk o' 'Hog. Mmmm.

Also finalized the paint and inlay colors! This is gonna be epic.

Holy shit, this Attila guy is efficient. He’s got a coat of sealer applied and will sand it down today. Depending on whether it needs a second coat or not, it will then get painted.

Won't be long now. Paint's done and is cleared, buffed and polished. Now the neck is getting oiled. Hardware and electronics go in soon. Should land before or in time for X-mas.

The infamous "Zza" Strat has undergone yet one more (final?) transformation.

Seems I just don't have a significant use for a dedicated, single coil Strat. So the Gravelin bridge, single coil came out and a SD Hot Rails went in. With coil splitting.

Best (or close enough) of both worlds now.
