I just want to note that Mike sent 0105 out with speed knobs on it, and I wasn’t sure about the look. That all went out the window once I used the guitar. I work my volume all the time and they are so easy on the finger. 

Not very often do I see another build that makes me jealous but DAMN that is HOTTT!

Although it has been well documented that Velcro shoes are for the elderly, the shit-faced and the retarded, Velcro shoes don't make the CLINK sound when the plain E string gets bent in between the fret end and the binding.  And yes, I've experienced this on more than one (then) newer Hamer.  

Just face it: If it has never happened to you, you don't use enough hand vibrato.

It warms my heart to know that I’m not the only one who dislikes binding over the frets.

I sold all my Hamers with bound necks... except the 12 string Newport for the reasons stated above. I guess I have an extra big warble...

I am so lusting for a Schishkov and so jealous of those that have one. Someday.....  Someday...

My 2010 12ver has the binding over the frets and it's the only one I have that way.  I never really thought about it until you guys started talking about it.
