HoboMan Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 2016 Gibson SG Special T. Satin ebony finish, mahogany body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Just purchased at the beginning of the year. Had plans to hot rod it but plans have changed. Pretty much in like new condition. I've only played it a few hours in my house. The mini hums sound really good but my hot rod plans had me install a set of Dimarzio soapbar humbuckers. DLX Plus DP162 in the neck and a Super Distortion DP209 at the bridge. ABSOLUTELY NOT ROUTING when these were installed. They were a direct drop in replacement. The guitar will ship with the original Mini Humbuckers installed. If you want it with the Dimarzio Soap Bars add $100. That included the mini-hums also. Includes original Gibson gig bag and all bag candy. Also includes original unfilled out warranty card. Maybe a new owner could still register the warranty with Gibson? With original mini hums OR Dimarzio soapbars- SOLD shipped & PayPal'd. With both sets of PUs - SOLD - shipped & PayPal'd. unfun75 Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 That looks killer with the soap bars installed!
Jeff R Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Insider tip ... that DLX Plus neck unit is absolutely the cat's ass full package of tones. Four-conductor goodness too. HIGHLY recommended.

zorrow Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 Dude! But my plans this year are cutting to a half the number of guitars I have.
