After that top sat for a while, it was time to cut it out - this is when things really began to take shape and I got a better idea of what that beautiful wood would look like in a few months!  The second and fourth pics show the rough blank(s).  The third pic, the "firewood frames" of that run, is one of my favorites that Mike has shared.

After the newly glued up and cut out top/Korina body sat (cured) for a few weeks, Mike did some finer cutting/shaping...

The fretboard work is some of the coolest stuff to see Mike do, in my opinion.  This is the jet black ebony board with perfect MOP Crown inlays and triple stacked Ivoroid binding...

Third.  Threads like this that just enforce what wonderful craftsmanship exists in a well built guitar.

Thank pretty much sums them all up.  All Shishkovs are cool yet this one just seems to have another "whoa" moment;  the neck, the Luminlay, the quilt, the KORINA, the binding and just "whoa".
