I am in shock at this news, really having trouble processing it. He was just posting here. Prayers, thoughts, and condolences are sent to his family. Wow.

Killerteddybear posts have always been fun or helpful.  This place is going to be a little less fun now.

Rocktuna, your brother will be missed.  I hope you will be OK.

Geez. I'm stunned. 😔

Deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Double-Damn it!!

swear this past year has brought nothin' but bad, bad news.

So sorry to hear this. You and the whole family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Rest in peace.

Like Steve, I always enjoyed reading Killerteddybear's posts.  Easy to take for granted the presence of our asynchronous, digital pen pals until they leave the board or pass away. The past 12 months have some of the worst for our generation.  Lost two people in my rural community last week (and this case, due to COVID-19); both unexpectedly, and one was only 47.

Sorry to hear that. It is a real loss to us all.

Its just all so shocking, and I don't know what to say. My condolences and my heart go out to you and your family. Our HFC Family is going to feel its own version of grief over this great loss when it fully sets in.

There are no words @Rocktuna..,other than I am truly sorry for your loss. This sucks.

Wow.  This is a gut punch.  I’ve really enjoyed his posts and the banter back and forth for many years here in the HFC.

Lots of positive mojo to send around.

I sure hate to hear that; I loved his posts. My condolences to the family.

This is sad and I'm really sorry to hear of this horrible news. He was always a cool person to me; to everyone, as far as I know. My heart goes out to your family and to all that knew him.

Obviously I got the date wrong it was the 16th.
Larry collapsed walking into work on Tuesday morning. They figure a heart attack. He was 2 weeks shy of 65.
A big guy but a real softie, he’d give you the shirt off his back or the guitar off the wall. I know of instances where a kid would show an interest in guitar and Larry would give him one. Last year when I was extremely ill and hospitalized for months I had told Larry I always loved his USA tele,  a week or so later it just arrived  I offered to send it back or at least pay for it but he wouldn’t hear of it.
He had many talents, not only was he a great Bass player he had a degree in Engineering Physicsand was a pioneer in the field of Optical Fiber

I’ve already had the “oh I’ll have to call Larry and tell him that moment”

And yes he had a twisted sense of humor and appreciated the female form

I’ll miss you brother
