BCR Greg Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 Bills daughter Stephanie just texted me to say that Bill just passed on all of a sudden. Bill was a great guy. Big, loud, fun. He would leave his job as a taxi driver and take his cab to drive from NYC to Lemoyne to hang out in my shop. He loved 12 string basses and coffee. He will be missed.
stonge Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 that guy had a heart as big as his smile, and his laugh was louder than his double-neck through an SVT. Condolences to the family.
edgar_allan_poe Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 My wife just told me about this so I figured I would drop in and pay my respects. Bill was a really good guy and a fantastic bass player. RIP Bill.
butcher Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Sorry to hear this. My condolences to family and friends. RIP Bill. Old times, good times:
Bass Guy Dave Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 Oh, no! Very sorry to hear this. Rest in Peace, Bill...
rugby1970 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Did not know the gentleman but very sad to hear this news.
Cary Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 Oh fuck, missed this completely. Didn’t know he had passed until I realized he hadn’t commented on my FB posts in a while and checked his page. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Another great one gone too soon. RIP, Billybob.
hikarateboy Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 I had the pleasure of riding of getting a ride from Bill to NYC from HFC I in '98. I only knew him from the board previously but that all changed after that ride. He was a fun and caring man and I appreciated his sense of humor and approach to life. Thanks for spending the time you did with us Bill. You will be missed.
