Roy and I visited yesterday during setup, our booths are only a few apart and he has some serious ice cream in his parlor.

Yesterday was also VIP access day, here's the high point from my booth ...

Jeff, I'm 99.9% confident he played through that blackface (Super Reverb?), but which of your Tele-style guitars did he play?

Good seeing you and Vonnie again. I'm sorry I had to skedaddle, but you guys were busy, so I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. I can't believe I missed Bruce, and that I just happened to be wearing that particular shirt. BTW, really nice  booth setup. Maybe I'll see you again in Dallas.

I'm sorry I missed you, too, Al!  Too much fun there, and it was great to see you, Jeff, and Vonnie as well.  I'm certain there will be a road trip to LA in my future, and my sister wants to tag along too.

Word on the street is that Jeff knows a thing or two about how to have a good time in Louisiana.

He played one of my black relics loaded with a pair of my more unique Tele sets. The man owns EVERY great Tele pickup under the sun, so I showed him my take on P-90s that fit in Fender footprints. Here's the one he played as I was completing it just a few days before the show. The one I planned to take to Nashville sold in my shop at the last minute.
