How do you link/post pictures in the for sale forum from google photos?

Experts,

I'm working on posting a guitar for sale over in the for sale forum. I can't figure out how to post / link pictures from google photos. I have sold stuff there before (with pictures) and used to know how to do it - though I used photobucket. I looked for the instructions that are around here somewhere, but I could not find them. The insert link didn't seem to work. What am I missing?

Any help is appreciated. 

And, for anyone who recognizes me, yes, it has been a long time.

I am not sure about how google photos works but I have downloaded pics to my computer then added them to the message using the "drag files to attach or choose files" option at the bottom of the message box as opposed to linking to pic hosting sites.

"Screenshot" app if you're on Mac.
"Snipping Tool" of "Snip & Sketch" if you're on Windows.

I used to use Google Photos for this, but it doesn't work anymore.  Now, I create an inflated-price Reverb ad (is there any other kind anymore?), and then just link to the photos there.  The advantage of this is that you can get large, detailed photos.
