Now, there's a Dean headstock I can live with.

Sorry Len, but that pic is the embodiment of the "butterface" concept applied to guitars.

Holy Moses! That Series II headstock is gigantic.

Camera angle added a little to the size appearance but def. is quite large. Much to my surprise it doesn't have serious neck dive. Nice guitar

Congrats on the demos! Hope they lead to a release of some sort.

Sounds cooler than it is. Just adding guitar parts and working out arrangements. The amp sims in Logic are good enough for laying down ideas. When the songs are finished then I’ll break out the real amps, etc.

Is that a U.S. made or Czech made Dean Cadillac guitar? What year is that? That looks badass! How come it's so hard to find vintage '70s - '80s Dean guitars now? I hardly see any used ones for sale.

They’re out there, but usually at silly prices. The guy I traded for my ML had it marked at $2895. I lucked out, as the LP I traded was worth roughly that…I dunno, the dealer might have gotten a slightly better part of the deal. I’ll be good gaw-danged if I was going to pay $3k for a guitar I bought for $1500 in 1994!

70s Deans seem to be selling for >$4k these days. It’s hard to find a used one in unmolested condition. I think people are holding on to their old Deans.

I am loving my refretted/PLEK-ed, ‘83 ML. It plays amazing and sounds godly thru my amps.

The Z is an '05 USA Time Capsule and the Caddy is I think made in Indonesia. The Z is superb and the Caddy is also very high quality. I bought both of my Dean's from @DaveL... he knows a lot about them .. maybe he will chime in

Here is my 2012 usa time capsule.   Got it last year on reverb and it was pretty much NOS.      I wanted to replace the one I had sold to Len.

I don’t know too much about vintage Dean pricing but I do watch the time capsules which have shifted upward… really like the time capsules. Nicely made, good features.   I have a recent Cadillac import that sounds nice.  Was a nice deal for 5 Hundy ish used.     I’ll add a pic when I get to my home pc….
