bry4321 Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 This is functional not pretty. I say it is 70s case based on the place I got it from. Pics are from before I cleaned up the exterior and then polished all the plating off the latches.
cmatthes Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Looks like a period-correct early 80s case to me.

Couple of differences between this case and my supposed 82 case that I failed to notice. One is flat, no locking latch. The other has a latch under the handle and a slight hump. Maybe there some overlap, or the “82” in the pic is newer, or they were for different models? This info is probably on here somewhere but I couldn’t find it.

I have multiple 80's Hamer logo'd cases for Standards, Blitz's and Scepters that are all different... you'd think they'd be the same... the outside is the same but the interior is different... different neck support brace location, accessory box and even the lining material is different
cmatthes Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Agree with Dave. There was much variation in the cases from year to year - as well as during the same year.
