This showed up today, it's always Christmas over here :)

After some control cavity surgery redoing the worst soldering I've personally seen, replacing bad volume pots, making the tone no load, this thing sounds pretty great! Really beautiful feel to it, heavy! It's got Gibson pickups, they measure around 5.8k each..sounds really good for a first play, old nasty strings so this can only get better.

Will order a good replacement nut tonight.. I'm really digging the gold pickups with the matching metal frames, I know that's not ideal electrically but as is it sounds pretty good!
