Chinese-made cases aren't nearly as durable as the Canadian-made TKL cases I've had, IMO...the vinyl covering on the Chinese-made cases tends to curl and separate at the edges, the center pockets and interior dividers are flimsy and become loose the more the case gets used, and I had one case where the seam joining the sides together separated.  I've gotten rid of every one of those I've ever received with a used guitar.  I've never had any of those issues with a Canadian-made TKL, even when bought well-used.

An odd exception to this seem to be (so far) the Chinese cases on the new era (post-Henry) Les Pauls (maybe all Gibsons).  There are a significant number of threads showing the relative quality between the new Gibson cases made in Canada vs. made in China.  I assumed the very nicely done case I received with my '19 50's Standard was Canadian given the fit and finish, but on running across the thread I checked mine and low and behold, it's Chinese.  The fit and finish is far superior to my 1991 TKL and it would appear the contemporary TKLs, as well.

Sort of a long video for the topic, but:

I will say I always noticed the Hamer TKL cases (the Senior, for example) were much nicer than my 1991 Gibson TKL case (speaking of when the Gibson was brand new).

Perhaps I should limit my statement to cheap Chinese-made cases.  You get what you pay for.  Or not.  Even nowadays, shopping for gear and accessories is a crapshoot.
